A planning board is not a Gantt chart

A Gantt chart shows you what the plan is. A planning board lets you change it.

That distinction sounds small. It isn't. A planning tool is there to make decisions, and reading them is the easy part. uScheduler Production starts from the inverse premise of most tools, where every cell on the board is a decision waiting to be made. Drag it, drop it and see the consequence. There's no separate edit mode. The plan is the editor.
